Day 1

Hanoi Arrival

Transfer:

Our itinerary starts in Ha Noi Capital. Upon your arrival,  you will be picked up at Noi Bai International Airport and transferred to your hotel for check in at 14:00

The rest of the day is yours to spare.

Day 2

Hanoi – Historical Sightseeing Tour

Today, we will explore Ha Noi Capital with long -  standing history and significant cultural and spiritual values. First and foremost, we will pay a visit to Ho Chi Minh Complex to know more about Uncle Ho - the beloved Father and great polictist of the country. Our attractions include: Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt house, Presidential palace and Ho Chi Minh Museum.

Then, we will move to the Military History Museum aka Army Museum where to observe the amazing collection of war relics and historical remnants from the Vietnam wars.

Next, we will have a short visit to Hanoi Flag tower - one of the symbolic images of Vietnam.

Another worth - visiting attraction is the B52 Victory Museum, where displays many fighters of B-52 Stratofortress, documents and other artifacts from the American war. You can also have a chance to see the wreckage of the B - 52 in a lake nearby on the way back, which was shot down in 1972.

Our next place of interest is Hoa Lo Prison which is an obvious evidence of a grievous time that Vietnamese soldiers faced under French colonialism. The prison was constructed to keep political prisoners and was prominent as the most terrifying lock - up in Asia during its working time.  

The last stop for today is Long Bien bridge - an iconic landmark of Hanoi for over 100 years. You can take a walk around to contemplate the unique structure as well as feast your eyes on the scenery of the mighty Red River.

Day 3

Hanoi – Flight to Hue – Imperial Citadel and Thien Mu Pagoda

Say goodbye to Hanoi city to continue our Vietnam exploration. You will be transferred to the airport for the flight  to Hue in the morning.

Upon arrival , our local guide and driver will pick you up and take you to your hotel for check in.

After having a short break in the afternoon, embark on a boat trip on the Perfume River and observe the outstanding Imperial Citadel of Hue. Then, take a boat cruise on the mellow Perfume River while transferring to the ancient Thien Mu Pagoda, which is situated on the river bank.

Day 4

Hue – Dmz Tour – Vinh Moc Tunnels

In the morning, we will visit  the Demilitarized Zone in Quang Tri which bears high value in history and military. 

Our first visit is La Vang Holy Land - a religious site of Vietnamese Christian devotees lying in Hai Lang district, Quang Tri province. People believe that Lady Mary appeared here in 1978.

When moving to the next destination, you can see the Rockpile Hill on the Highway 9 - a US military base between 1966 and 1968. 

We approach Dakrong Bridge - the beginning of Highway 15 - an important route of the Ho Chi Minh Trail that could lead us to A Shau valley and the notorious “Hamburger Hill”. Moreover, a monument can be spotted on the way which was constructed in order to dedicate a historical event there. 

Then, we pay a visit to Khe Sanh combat base where to witness one of  the most bloodiest battles in the American war. 

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Dong Ha town. Back to Highway 1.

Hien Luong bridge and Ben Hai river are where we head next. Once a border line divided the North and South of Vietnam, they are now 2 important historical sites of Quang Tri province in particular and Vietnam in general. 

Ultimately, we have an excursion to Vinh Moc tunnels, an impressive complex of underground system that separated completely from the outside world. It was built as a stable fortress  to sustain bombing during the period of 1965-1966.

Our tour will be finished at about 6.30 pm.

Day 5

Hue – Danang – Hoian - Ancient Town

Have breakfast at your hotel before kicking off with a tour today. It takes us 3 hours to drive to Hoian Ancient Town. En route, you can admire the spectacular view of Vietnam’s coastline and the gorgeous Hai Van Pass. 

Check in and have a short break at  your hotel. 

Stroll around the old quarter to contemplate the retro structures of Hoian with the harmonious blend of Vietnam, Japan and China architecture. Then, pay a visit to the fascinating Hoi An Museum and contemplate the impressive Phuoc Kien Assembly Hall. Our sightseeing tour will finish after a visit to the Tan Ky

Old House and the unique Japanese Covered Bridge.

Back to the hotel. You will be free for the rest of the day.

Day 6

Hoian – Free and Easy

Today is at your leisure. Let enjoy your time in Hoi An in your own way. Wander around, take photos, buy some lovely keepsakes for your beloved next of kin.

Day 7

Flight to Ho Chi Minh – Historical Places

Have breakfast at your hotel and then you will be transferred (no guide) to the Airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh city. By the time you land at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, our local guide and driver will pick you up and take you the hotel for check in.

In the afternoon, a city tour will be arranged around Ho Chi Minh city exploring the imposing French architecture. Our visit includes the Old Saigon post office, Notre Dame Cathedral, Opera House, Reunification Palace and War Remnant Museum.

Dinner at your own expense. Stay overnight  at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 8

Cu Chi Tunnels – Free and Easy

This morning, we have an exciting drive to Cu Chi Tunnels - an extraordinary underground network of 250 km in length. During the Vietnam War, these routes were used as living area, military and political meeting place as well as food, medicine and weapon storages. The tunnels provide a closer look at the harsh conditions that Vietnamese fighters used to confront.

Leave Cu Chi tunnels and get back to the city center. Afternoon time is yours to spare.

Day 9

Ho Chi Minh – Departure – No Guide

It’s time to capture some last photos to preserve memories and moments in Ho Chi Minh city. Purchase some great souvenirs for your loved ones back home. Our driver (without tour guide) will pick you up and transfer you to Tan Son Nhat International  Airport for your departure flight.
