Full Itinerary

Day 1

Night Train to Lao Cai

Transfer:

Night train to Lao Cai (4 berths shared cabin). Meals on your own account. Overnight on train.

Day 2

Lao Cai – Local Market – Sapa Town

Transfer:

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Upon arrival in Lao Cai station, the driver and guide will meet up and drive you to Hoang Lien Son mountain. 

Today you will explore the local markets.

Speaking about the mountainous markets is not only talking about selling and buying goods. More than that, these markets are the hub of the minorities’ lives, the place local people gather to entertain and seeking lovers!

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Back to the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. 

Take a transfer to get to Sapa in the afternoon, which is approximately 3 hours. Dinner on your own account. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3

CAT CAT – Y LINH HO - LAO CHAI - TAVAN

Transfer:

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

After breakfast, we will have a walk to Cat Cat village to visit the H'mong, the hydroelectric power station built by French people and silver waterfall. You can explore other areas and meet other minorities by walking down the valley below Sapa.

You will also see a beautiful river as we walk along the way to Y Linh Ho village. This is where the Black H’Mong people live. Take a break and enjoy your lunch here.

In the afternoon, you will have a great panoramic view of the whole Muong Hoa valley with lush green landscape and huge terraced rice-fields. Then visit Lao Chai village and Tavan Village of Giay community followed by the trekking trail. 

Transfer back to Sapa. Dinner is on your own account. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4

Free Relaxing – Bus to Hanoi

Meals: Breakfast

Free at your leisure. You can do some shopping in the town, visit the hidden villages to learn more about the culture,... Send requests to get free tailor-made trip. All can be customized into a unique itinerary just for you! 

In the afternoon, the bus is ready to take you back to Hanoi. Meals on your own.

  • 0 - 2 years old: Free of charge (Maximum 1 child under 2 years old travels with 2 adults; from the second child, 50% of the regular fare will be applied) .
  • 2 - 5 years old: 50% of the regular fare will be applied.
  • 5 - 11 years old: 75% of the regular fare will be applied.
  • From 12 years and older: 100% of the regular fare will be applied.

  • Christmas and New Year’s Eve: Compulsory meals would be added during these times of the years, depends on hotels or resorts you stay.
