Salinda Resort Phu Quoc Island

From the moment we arrived at the Salinda until we left two weeks later, we enjoyed the best hospitality and friendliest staff we have ever come across on our travels. Everyone was so helpful and no request was too much trouble. As is mentioned in most reviews the breakfast at the Salinda is truly exceptional and both Caroline and Lanh were perfect hosts. It was the highlight of our day and we would enjoy it so much we would be at our table for well over an hour sampling the different foods and enjoying as many refills of prosecco as we wished! The hotel grounds plus the pool and the beach were just as beautiful as illustrated and our room was perfect. If you don't want to eat at the hotel there are some really nice little restaurants within easy walking distance. If you wish to go further then taxis are really plenty and economical. Although we did not sample the spa we loved the complimentary 3 minute shoulder massages given on your sun lounger by the spa girls every lunchtime. We hope to return to the Salinda one day

We stayed at Salinda for 4 nights and had an amazing time. The room was huge and we had a great view of the water. The beach and pool were incredible, and we spent most of the days relaxing in the lounge chairs. The staff was great and the service was top notch. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast as well as the food/drinks by the pool. Close enough to the downtown to get there quickly but far enough to feel secluded. Would definitely stay here again at a future visit

My wife and I stayed here for 7 nights after a tiring tour around a Vietnam and Cambodia and loved it. We had a sea facing 3rd floor room with the largest bed I have ever slept in. Room was spacious, very clean and offered everything we needed. The pool is lovely although the beach is quite small and slopes steeply into the sea. Breakfast is a wonderful experience with every facet of food imaginable. We enjoyed our visit to the Spa, where I had a much needed pedicure carried out by Rung who was lovely. We ate in the hotel on 4 of the 7 nights enjoying Pakka’s the Indian restaurant, the on the beach bbq, the Vietnamese night and Munro’s the Italian. The food within the hotel is more expensive than the roadside local eateries, but of good quality and value for money. If I go back to Phu QUOC I would definitely stay at the Salinda as the service and friendly staff are top class

My husband and I stayed here for a week after a previous week spent touring the Mekong Delta. A great place to unwind and relax. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the resort was just what we had hoped for and more! We are hoping to return to tour North Vietnam at some point and would stay here again in a heart beat

Without doubt this is the best hotel we have stayed in. Having arrived very early we were quickly given a room and we were upgraded to a villa which was outstanding with a wonderful bathroom. The staff were outstanding and always so cheerful and accommodating. Every effort was made to meet everyone’s wishes. I will long remember Chi and alien. The various restaurants were very good and in particular we enjoyed the Vietnamese. One evening we had a delicious rib eye steak meal and I went to the chef to thank him. Next morning at breakfast the chef appeared with a copy of the recipe. How kind of him. The town of Duong Dong is worth a visit to see the night market but there is little else. The hotel has a private beach which is absolutely lovely and the sea is clear with no stones or shingle on the seabed. The one criticism which I have is that the lunch menu is rather expensive Many who review this hotel comment on the breakfast. Well you may think that breakfasts are very similar in all good hotels but believe you me the breakfast here is unbelievable with such a very wide choice of dishes and there is no rush at the egg counter. You order what you want at your table and it is delivered to you. My wife said that if we did not have another holiday then we would have finished on a very high note at this hotel. To all the staff and management thank you for a wonderful stay

Me and my family definitely get in love with Salinda. It's a perfect place for relax, delicious food, good rooms, quality service, friendly atmosphere. 100% reccomend. For our next visit to Phu Quoc we will choose only Salinda

Absolutely perfect! Room, Restaurants, Pool and most of all the friendly and helpful stuff.A fantastic breakfast buffet. In the evening there are 3 restaurants, Indian, Vietnamese and Italian, which are open alternately

My wife and I recently returned from this excellent hotel, having enjoyed two weeks of wonderful Vietnamese hospitality. The staff here are almost embarrassingly polite and friendly and an absolute credit to the hotel and their country. We were on a half board basis , which in retrospect may not have been the best option for a two week holiday, though we found all of the food to be of a very high standard. My wife loved the mango salad at the Cyan pool bar & we will definitely be trying to recreate it in gloomy London—- especially as it appears all the restaurants here will be closed. Great group playing in the lounge every night with some themed nights, movie night was particularly good. Room was spacious with a huge comfortable bed and great walk in shower. Tea making facilities were most welcome for an early ( well, not so early) morning cuppa

his hotel is absolutely fabulous. From the moment you enter till the moment you leave the staff are friendly , courtious and very very attentive. We knew from the greeting of the reception staff on our day of arrival, that this was going to be superb. We had a top floor room with an ocean view, beautiful and spacious and spotlessly clean. The gardens are kept prestine as is the pool area and beach. We ate in two of the onsite resteraunts during our stay, the Il Muro Ialiano & the Pakka Indian. The qulity of the food and the service was exemplary in both. Both my wife & I also visited the spa and as is the norm with this hotel, it was superb. Unfortunately we had to cut short our visit to this little piece of paradise due to flight changes because of the global pandemic, but we've certainly seen enough to say 'see you soon' Thank you Salinda and all the team for making our all but to short a stay, a very very special one
