Saigon Phu Quoc Resort & Spa

Great resort with excellent service, great location with only a short walk to the night market. We had a beachfront villa which was awesome. Very relaxing place with a lots of activities in the resort and a great Seafood & BBQ grill in their restaurant. Pool side bar food and drinks we also very good. Highly recommend this resort and also the island itself, very relaxing and not the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh

The beach was super clean and the resort itself is ok to stay for 2-3 days. My family ( with kid ) had 3 nights stay here and it s a walking distance to everything. The beach is private and the water is very clean

Beautiful view - well trained staff I visited the resort for 4 days trip vacation. The resort really made me pleased with an ocean view bugalow, very clean and modern. The staff are around to assist you with all your requests. Highly recommend to everyone ‘d like to travel to Phu Quoc

As other travellers have noted, some areas of the hotel are dated but we saw constant maintenance and updates inside and outside. Five stars for excellent service and location. Everything is within walking distance and the beach is beautiful. On one of our days, the tide was washing a lot of garbage to the shore, however there were two gentlemen cleaning and a bunch of guests helped clean as well. The water is clear with a sandy bottom. Rooms were cleaned well with a water conservation program to clean linens every three days and optional towel service. Breakfast was excellent and the hard working restaurant staff earned gold stars. Very welcoming and plenty of selection too. We had a beach front villa and requested a late checkout but our room was booked so we couldn’t stay longer. However alternate arrangements were provided to accommodate. Free shuttle from and to the airport. Nice to see the clear signage with our name upon arrival outside the airport. There is extensive beachfront and no issues getting a lounge chair. Lots of umbrellas for shade too. Highly recommend. Great location. Great service. Wonderful beach

We stayed for 6 nights in a beachside bungalow and had an amazing time. Room was spotless and has everything you require, highly recommend booking a beachside room as the view from the room and veranda (where you have some steps straight to the beach) is truly stunning. Location on island is perfect, there are plenty of shops/restaurants outside the hotel and is only a 15 minute walk to the night market where you can do some shopping and there are plenty of restaurants for dinner. Hotel staff cannot help enough and are a credit to the hotel. Did not feel hotel required modernising, for the price it was amazing value for money and cannot fault in any way

We stayed at the Saigon Phu Quoc after a 15 day tour of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. This Hotel was a welcome relief. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were a good size and always cleaned

From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome. A fantastic team of staff who help you with anything. A beautiful character hotel. I thought the value of our stay was amazing, the place isn't 'tired' as others may of mentioned, its just been there a few years, its beautifully maintained. We have enjoyed 7 days in a presidential suite with our 2 kids aged 10. Is a 2 bedroom suite with a living room in the middle. Two large terraces with ocean view from where we enjoyed the sun and sunset. Very nice and quiet pool. Beach with sun beds and umbrellas available for free. Easy access to restaurants nearby and night market.All in all a wonderful stay

The resort of Phu Quoc is busy and we were therefor surprised how quiet this hotel was once you wer in it and behind the main building. We had chosen a garden bungalow which was set in the grounds, had its own veranda with chairs and a table to sit at and was spacious and well appointed inside. The beach was literally yards away from the bungalows and had plenty of beds under canopies along the hotel's beach front. Breakfast was included with our booking and was buffet style with the option for freshly made omelettes and cooked eggs (fried or poached). The hotel offered lunch and evening meals for an additional cost. It was advised to book the evening meal as the area used is located right next to the beach and was a lovely setting for an evening meal listening to the waves crash onto the beach. The staff were really accommodating and helpful and all spoke English but some to a greater degree than others. There is a large pool which has a shallower area for young children but not shallow enough for babies. Around the pool are plenty of sun beds which were always available and not fought over. There is a pool bar that has happy hour which definately was a hit for many.

This is more of a traditional Asian hotel and was one of the earlier ones to get established in the area. The guests are mainly Scandinavian, Russian or Asian.The buildings are well spaced out in beautifully well maintained tropical gardens. The beach has very nice golden sand backed by lush palm trees. The sea is wonderfully warm but a cloudy green colour and for the most part pretty clean. The pool is large and a delight. We never had a problem getting a sun bed at the pool or on the beach.The rooms are large and airy with a good sized balcony. Our king sized bed was enormous and would comfortably sleep four! We stayed in room 301, third floor which was private and surrounded in lush vegetation. (Probably one of the best rooms apart from the more pricey bungalows). Service standards were high. Everything was kept very clean
