Day 1

Hanoi Arrival

When you arrive at Noi Bai international airport in Hanoi, our guide and driver are ready to pick you up and transfer you to the hotel for check in. Your room is available at 14:00.

The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 2

Hanoi - Bus to Sapa (B)

Breakfast at hotel. 

This morning at around 07:30 – 08:00 am, the bus will pick you up at hotel and then transfer to Sapa. The journey will take you about 5 hours driving through mountainous area to Sapa town in the Northwest of Vietnam. 

15:00 - Arrive at your hotel in Sapa. Check in hotel and relax after a long trip. 

The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 3

Sapa Trekking - Bus to Hanoi (B/L)

Recharge your energy with a great breakfast at the hotel. Then, we head off to explore the beauty of Muong Hoa Valley. The drive takes you on a scenic road of the Northern Vietnam with magnificent mountain range and stunning valley below. Enjoy the peaceful landscape and the singing of birds en route. And if lucky, you can also catch an interesting moment of a local boy leading a group of buffaloes with a stick. 

We reach Lao Chai village after about 7 km drive on the main road and pass through a small trail crossing the rice paddies. Here, you will have an opportunity to learn about the local’s way of life, their culture and traditions. Ta Van village is our next stop where is home to Giay ethnic group. We pay a visit to some local families, experience their life and learn about the differences between the hill tribes. Lunch at a local restaurant. 

In the afternoon, the car is waiting for us on the main road for a drive back to Sapa. After some time to freshen up, we get on a bus back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi in the evening. Dinner on your own. Overnight stay in Hanoi. 

Day 4

Hanoi - Overnight Cruise on Halong Bay (B/L/D)

Have breakfast at hotel.

7:45-8:15 am: Tour guide will meet you at your hotel with shuttle bus pick up. Enjoy the peaceful scenery as we travel through the countryside, farmland and Red River delta.

11:30 -12:00: Arriving Tuan Chau Marina. Welcome aboard the cruise. Meet the captain, crew and join us for welcome drink as we tell you about life onboard. Check into your cabin. Time to refresh and unwind. Served a delectable lunch while cruising ahead to Halong Bay.

In the afternoon, explore the Surprising Cave – the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay. It is one of the widest grottoes in Halong Bay with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites.

Back to the Cruise, we will take you to visit the Titop Island – swimming Climbing up to the Top of the Island – take the best view of Halong Bay.

Continue cruising to the quiet area while enjoying beautiful seascape on the way. 

After that, come back to the boat, enjoy the Sunset Party on sundeck.

Evening Relaxing: Dinner is served.

Socialize with other guests, take part in board games, fish for squid, or just laze around.

Day 5

Halong Bay - Hanoi (B/L)

6:30 – 6:45 am: Have breakfast on board while the boat starts cruising to the Natural Preservation Zone.

Kayaking to explore around the area or visit a floating house and learn about the daily life of the local fishermen who live there.

We board the cruise again while you take time to refresh and relax before checking out. Bags can be left in luggage store.

Time for Lunch.

11:00 – 11:30 am: Disembark at the harbor, Tuan Chau Marina. The tour guide and shuttle are waiting for you to transfer you back to the hotel in Hanoi.

Day 6

Hanoi Morning Sightseeing - Afternoon Flight to Hue (B)

This morning is going to be an interesting day sightseeing in Hanoi. Our first visit is Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where you can have a chance to learn more about the Great Father of Vietnam - Uncle Ho through his relics at the Still House, Presidential Palace and One Pillar Pagoda. Next, head to Temple of Literature is also known as the first university of Vietnam. Lunch on your own account.

Afternoon, transferred without guide to the airport for a flight to Hue. Our driver will wait for you at Hue airport for a pick up and transfer to your hotel in Hue.

Day 7

Hue Imperial Citadel - Thien Mu Pagoda - Tu Duc & Minh Mang Tomb (B)

Our first stop today morning is a stunning garden house which follows precisely the geomancy’s rules. Relax and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere here. Next, pay a visit to Hue Imperial Citadel situated beautifully on the bank of Perfume River.

Afterwards, hop on a sampan boat for a cruise along Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda

The two most magnificent Emperor’s tombs of Tu Duc and Minh Mang are our next stop in the afternoon.

Back to Hue City.

Day 8

Hue - Hoian - Ancient Town (B)

Breakfast will be served at your hotel. Then, we take a 3 hours drive to Hoian Ancient Town through the gorgeous Hai Van Pass. This is a great opportunity for you to admire the spectacular coastline of Vietnam. Check in your hotel as you arrive in the destination.

Stroll around the old quarter to contemplate the beautiful structures of Hoian which combine Vietnam, Japan and China architecture harmoniously. Up next, pay a visit to the wonderful Hoian Museum, observe the impressive Phuoc Kien Assembly Hall. Finish your sightseeing tour with a visit to the Tan Ky Oldhouse and the unique Japanese Covered Bridge

Hoi An - Free and Easy (B)

08:00-08:30: The tour will begin at your hotel or our office. Our tour guide will greet you and provide bicycle for your trip. Cycling through the paddle fields and shrimp farm. 

Firstly, we will head to Tra Que vegetable village, you can relax and enjoy the peaceful countryside then stroll along the vegetable villages. As a special treat, you will be involved with digging, sowing, planting, and harvesting the vegetables with hundreds of years of rudimentary tools of the farmers. You will enjoy E Water, a specialty of Tra Que vegetable village, you can feel the strong medicinal flavor from many kinds of vegetables. You could become a farmer with many interesting activities. 

Secondly, you will ride your bicycle leisurely passing the rice fields, and villages, to come to the art of making lanterns. 

You will visit craftsmen with skillful hands, show you how to create brightly colored lanterns. Expertly guided, you could make yourself a lantern as a gift to your family. 

After learning time, the tour guide will take you back to your hotel.

Hoian - Danang - Flight to Ho Chi Minh City (B) No Guide

This morning is free at your leisure. You can spend time exploring the ancient town buying some lovely gifts for your family and friends back home. 

In the afternoon, you will be transferred without guide to Da Nang Airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon your arrival, our driver is ready to pick up and transfer you to the hotel for check in.

Day 11

Cu Chi Tunnels - Ho Chi Minh Sightseeing (B) SIC Tour

RETURN: 19:00

Take the morning trip to visit Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification Palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom Palace. The Independence Palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of War Remnants Museum, the museum has a vast display of both the Indochina wars. 

Have lunch at a local restaurant.

Depart for Cu Chi tunnel, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served. 

Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun (on your own account)

Return to Ho Chi Minh.

Day 12

Ho Chi Minh - Mekong Delta Full Day - Can Tho (B)

We spend this whole day today exploring the boisterous Mekong Delta. It will take about 2.5 - 3 hours to drive from Ho Chi Minh City to Ben Tre. Get on the boat at Phong Nam pier for a cruise on Chet Say River - a branch of Mekong River. Here, you will have a chance to get an insight into the local life and their traditional handicrafts, such as coconut activated charcoal making, coconut products processing and mat weaving.

We will pay a visit to a tranquil village nearby. You can choose to hop on “xe loi” (a special motorized trishaw) or ride a bike around the village through the lush vegetation and beautiful paddy fields.

In the afternoon, enjoy a delightful boat trip along a narrow canal before returning to the quay. Transfer to Can Tho city.

Day 13

Cai Rang Floating Market - Ho Chi Minh (B)

Our trip today starts at Ninh Kieu Pier where we hop on board and set sail to Cai Rang floating market. A bazaard is crammed with a great number of sampan boats carrying all kind of tropical fruits from mangos, bananas to durians. This is a great opportunity for you to experience the authentic life of the people on Mekong Delta.

Return to Ho Chi Minh City.
