River Top Lodge

I stayed at River top for 4 days. The hotel is in a good part of Ngapali and just across the street from the beach. The rooms were clean and the breakfast had a good range of choices. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. They arranged transportation to the airport and also helped us rent a scooter. I will stay here again when I return to Ngapali.

I have been already 2 times in this hotel. Why? Very nice hotel and clean comfortables rooms more than one room service in a day Very friendly staff and take care all of the customers especially Ms. Lin Sandar Waing ( operation manager) and Ms. May Phyo Thu ( front office manager) Great location - hotel is in a good part of Ngapali cca 100m from a white sand beach, just 1 min walk to the beach across the road hotel has beach towels and own beach beds umbrellas on the beach for free nearby are restaurants and local shops free transfer from/to airport Reasonable price It were an excellents choices and next time I will stay this hotel again. I definitely recommend this place for a pleasant stay in Ngapali.

We stayed here for 5 nights. Very clean, lovely pool, fantastic service. They cleaned our room twice a day!!! The restaurant has the best food at very reasonable prices. The location is across the street from the beach, however the hotel has many lounge chairs with umbrellas designated for hotel customers only. Pay a third of the price of the hotels on the beach. The rooms are large and good a/c.

Have spent 5 nights last January. Very nice hotel with swimming pool. Rooms are very clean, Room service come twice a day, if you want. They have seats on the beach just 100 m across the road. The management and staff are very nice, very help full. They are ready to help you and provide the best service they can. A place to recommend.

This hotel is a gem. Situated on the main road opposite the beach, it is a 3 minute walk to their private beach loungers/ umbrellas , these are free, no charge. It is one of the best parts of the beach, and very near to many good restaurants which are a few minutes walk away. The rooms are big with teak floors, flat screen tv, big airy windows, comfortable beds. Aircon , which you don’t need as it’s quite cool at night and in the morning. ( bring a jacket for the evening ). There is a nice clean pool,which is a bit cold due to the night time temperatures. The breakfast is amazing, a huge choice, an egg station , and delicious fresh bread, croissants, butter jam, fruit etc, and food for Asians, hot dishes, stir fries and soups. The staff throughput the hotel are lovely, kind. From’the Managers to the housekeeping, charming and helpful. I ate once in the restaurant evenings and it was very good. The whole hotel is kept very clean, and the gardens looked after daily. The people at River Top made my stay in Ngapali extra wonderful. They also have a free pick up and drop off airport shuttle, let them know when you book in advance.

The value for what you get is wonderful; private room + access to beach loungers where there are locals posted up next to it selling fruit juices and beer. Great service, super friendly staff, cleaning twice per day, and the turndown service was very appreciated! Only real complaint is the wifi - it barely worked in the room, and if I did manage to get a signal, I had to relogin every 30 minutes or so. The signal was a bit stronger in the dining area.

It was a perfect vacation from the start to finish. The driver was ready for us when we arrived. Check in was a breeze. The check in procedure is unique - they welcomed us to sit down and then checked us in. The room was clean and they cleaned the room everyday. A very special thanks to Lin Sandar Waing the Operation Manager for her kindness and to Yin Yin the front desk receptionist for her efficiency in booking the boat tour and the tour of the elephants reserve. They were all very kind and gracious. We are already planning for our next business meeting there. Two - minute walk to the beach. Wonderful breakfast. Exceptional service.

Great, value for money family hotel. Within walking distance to beach and close to a mini mart ave ATM. The breakfasts are good and the staff were friendly and helpful. You can get massages and beauty treatments on site. A great experience all round.

We booked in for a couple of nights, and ended up staying 8. The hotel is clean and modern, we had a superior room, which was very big, and airy. Lovely bed, good internet, some tv. Breakfast is included and very very good. The staff here are super nice, can’t do enough for you. Also has a nice pool. Only 2 minutes from the beach, and they have lots of sun beds for guests to use for free on the beach, with a great little beach restaurant and bar right next to them. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel to all travelers.

Price to performance of this hotel is really really great. I did not expect this service with this price in ngapali because most of the hotel in ngapali are so expensive. Everything in this hotel is clean and neat.All staffs are always smile and warmly.Instead of staying in garden view room of some luxury hotel, I would like to stay here and walk just 2 min to beach.By the way,they also have a great pooL.

Ms Hung of Luxury Myranma River Cruises put together this package with us. She was very patient and thorough and we had a wonderful time. We would heartily recommend her and the company, for their efficiency and knowledge. She arranged interesting tours of Yangon and of Mandalay for us and make sure all our connections were made most efficiently. The river boat - the Irrawaddy Explorer - was very, very nice. The staff were attentive, the services exemplary. We highly recommend the ship. The itinerary was interesting and we saw a side of life which is rapidly disappearing. go now !!!!
